What are turns and how do you get them?

Each time a hero does something in a game, it uses a turn (or maybe more, in some games). Once a hero has used up all its turns, it must get more somehow.

Each hero stores up to 150 turns (300 if you have built a Longevity Bell), which may be used whenever you want. Turns stay until used, so you can save some for another day if you want to.

TO GET MORE TURNS, you can:

  1. WAIT for turns to be given out automatically. Every 3 hours, each hero on your roster gets 2 more turns. That makes 16 turns per hero per day. If you have built an Altar of Quickness (or if you have a new, trial account), this rate increases to 4 turns every 3 hours, or 32 turns per hero per day. This means to check back tomorrow or in a few days, and play the stored turns then.

  2. BUY extra turns. You get 32 turns for a hero for 1 credit. This is increased to 64 turns if you have built a Shrine of Heroes. Go buy turns

  3. If you have built a Food Cellar, DISTRIBUTE extra turns it has stored. It gets turns at the same rate as one of your heroes would.

Unlimited turns: if you use extra credits during hero creation, your hero gets unlimited turns, and you can play as much as you want. Learn more
