If you use extra credits during the creation of a hero, that hero will have unlimited turns, and you will be able to play it all the way through without needing to stop and wait for turns to accumulate. The extra credit cost works out to be much less than it would cost to buy the turns as you would need them, so if you want to play without waiting, it is a good bargain. You can still stop in the middle of the game and come back later to finish.

If have enough credits to begin a hero with unlimited turns, a checkbox will appear on the hero creation screen, just above the 'Create' button. Heroes that have unlimited turns are marked by "[ ∞ ]" on your hero roster.

There is a small random chance (less than or equal to 1%, depending on the game) that a hero can get free unlimited turns. This does not apply to free heroes from the shrine or any free promotional heroes.
