  • 06/07/16 - In The Lost City:
    • Added new power: circumspect. It helps you find things when you would have found nothing.
    • City food reward increased to 2 to 4 from 1 to 3.
    • Added mystic aura to specials box, and made that box light up when anything in it changes.
  • 06/01/16 - In The Lost City:
    • Added highlight box around a location if it is the current quest.
    • Re-arranged main game box.
    • Added pop out boxes to the right of the main display, which show specials and quest info.

  • 08/10/15 - In The Lost City:
    • Made it responsive for playing on mobile devices.
    • Added opening and closing pictures.
    • Added a knowledge reward for finding each place initially.
    • Made it so you can't lose thoughtful when you gain knowledge of less than 25 for something.






  • 12/01/09 - In The Lost City: Now it shows how many turns are left for you to try and finish a quest in.


  • 10/02/07 - In The Lost City:
      Increased the chance of finding things at the mines by 30%, at the mountains by 20%, and at the catacombs by 10%. Also increased the chance that the ancient one appears due to the amount of gems you have.
    • Added a new rare item.
    • Increased the Book of Knowledge per turn knowledge bonus from 1 to 1 to 3.
  • 09/29/07 - In The Lost City: Added result highlighting, to make it visually easier to follow what happens.


  • 10/07/05 - Reduced the cost of The Lost City to 4 credits, and made it a basic game, free to players with a Shrine of Heroes.

  • 03/04/04 - Lowered cost of The Lost City to 5 credits from 6.

  • 06/23/03 - In The Lost City: Added quests, a frequently occuring type of random goal for bonus knowledge. Spices the game up a lot.
  • 05/31/03 - In The Lost City:
    • Reduced the rope cost of the mines from 2 to 1, to encourage gems strategy.
    • Made finding the locations at the start easier, to speed the beginning of the game.
    • Added knowledge rewards to the city and dunes to half the time it used to be nothing, in order to reduce overall play time.

  • 09/29/02 - The Lost City got a special moving quest!
  • 04/15/02 - The Lost City, the fifth game on the site, added!
